Job Summary:
The Project Control & Scheduler Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting a facility expansion construction initiative, starting from the conceptual phase and continuing throughout the entire project lifecycle. This individual will deliver technical, analytical, and functional expertise in project control, planning, and scheduling, collaborating closely with Project Management, Project Controls, Construction Management, and all relevant project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain comprehensive project schedules for various projects and programs utilizing Primavera P6.
  • Facilitate the development and upkeep of schedules in collaboration with the entire project team, including engineering, licensing, permitting, procurement, and construction.
  • Analyze scheduling data and provide project teams with actionable recommendations to ensure adherence to required service dates.
  • Prepare detailed scheduling reports as necessary, including critical path analysis, baseline versus actual comparisons, look-ahead views, milestone tracking, and scenario planning.
  • Manage and maintain financial, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and other pertinent data within Primavera P6 for individual projects.
  • Establish and maintain status reporting and dashboards for financial metrics and schedules within Primavera P6, incorporating performance indices such as Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess project status regarding timelines and budgets.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management Scheduling concepts, including Activity Definition and Sequencing, Resource Estimating, Activity Duration Estimating, Critical Path Method (CPM) and Baseline analysis, and Earned Value Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Enterprise Portfolio Scheduling Software, specifically Primavera P6.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Indianapolis, IN area, with occasional hybrid work arrangements.
  • Experience in project, construction, or industrial business environments is preferred.
  • Experience in Utility Operations is a plus.
