**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at InterimHealthCare of Gilbert, AZ. As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously, providing a positive first impression of our office
• Check-in and schedule patients for appointments, ensuring accurate and timely registration
• Answer phones in a pleasant, helpful, and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
• Assemble patient charts, maintain files, and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and organized
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information during check-in, updating records as needed in the EHR system
• Scan insurance cards, driver's licenses, and referral/authorizations into the EHR system; update referring physician and PCP details
• Perform check-out procedures, schedule future appointments, and provide patients with instructions or education regarding upcoming tests or procedures

**Requirements:**

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred
• Strong computer, internet, and technology platform skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong phone customer service abilities
• Ability to create and maintain positive, effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the public
• Bilingual Spanish & English

This is a Direct-To-Hire position with immediate availability. The hours are Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays. InterimHealthCare is responsible for sourcing and interviewing candidates before presenting final candidates to the facility for the in person interview.
