Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and committed Senior Educator to guide a diverse group of infants within a Montessori framework.

In a Montessori setting, educators meticulously arrange an atmosphere that encourages independence and piques a child's curiosity. They offer individualized attention to each child, working with them both one-on-one and in small groups, demonstrating the use of materials and engaging them in activities, while providing precise language to enhance their understanding of experiences.

Thanks to the thoughtfully designed environment and tailored support, children in a Montessori classroom enjoy significant freedom to explore and engage with materials of their choosing for extended periods. Most importantly, this support and the available resources empower each child to build skills, confidence, and a strong belief in their capabilities.

We are looking for a Senior Educator who will dedicate their efforts to help every child achieve their utmost potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor each child's development closely to address their physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Respect the natural patterns of sleeping, eating, and toileting for each infant.
  • Create a beautiful, organized environment that nurtures trust, exploration, profound learning, and independence.
  • Encourage self-sufficiency and confidence by guiding children to 'do it all by themselves.'
  • Establish personal connections with each child and foster a community of respect.
  • Engage in respectful communication and collaboration with parents to ensure optimal care for every child.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training through our Prepared Montessorian Institute (fully-sponsored) or possession of a Montessori diploma.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-3 in group settings such as daycare, aftercare, or nursery.
  • Familiarity with child-led educational philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori, or a willingness to learn more.
  • 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.
