As the Facilities Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead continuous enhancement initiatives aimed at improving equipment performance throughout the contract packaging network.

- Coordinate teams to enhance preventive maintenance strategies
- Oversee all site capital projects from initial scope to implementation
- Collaborate with site management and engineers to create training programs for machine operators
- Establish relationships with key OEMs for future training and automation initiatives
- Serve as a superuser and network resource for all equipment
- Comply with GXO's quality and environmental standards; maintain a safe and organized work environment and ensure proper process usage
- Ensure that mechanical, plumbing, and electrical facility equipment is maintained in safe working order
- Schedule and/or perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment promptly
- Manage contractor services and bids for HVAC, janitorial, waste removal and recycling, maintenance and repair, elevator inspections, pest control, and annual preventive maintenance services
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized scanning equipment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends
- Strong interpersonal and management skills; ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with diverse personalities
- Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with widely recognized and emerging tools, technologies, and social applications
- Experience with PLC programming (Beckhoff, Allen Bradley), VFDs
- Knowledge of controls power distribution layouts, panel layouts, and hardware specifications
- Experience with robotics, high-speed sorters, ASRS, Goods-to-Person robots, and various conveyance systems
- Experience in setting up and utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System
