About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our wholesale and retail customers, answering their questions about our products, and recommending the right solutions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and product knowledge.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Build productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers to drive sales and customer loyalty.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas to ensure accurate product delivery.
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse to meet customer demands.
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring accurate color matching.
  • Stock shelves and set up displays to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Clean store equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
  • Assist in making deliveries as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options with customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures to ensure accurate product tracking and ordering.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction through feedback and suggestions.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  • Be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
  • Be able to tint paint consistent with customer color requests.
  • Be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have at least a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
