Brooksource is looking for a detail-oriented and efficient IT Support Clerk. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing an extensive array of support requests, organizing them appropriately, and prioritizing urgent matters for swift resolution. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our IT support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly assess and categorize incoming support requests.
- Identify and escalate urgent issues to the appropriate technical teams.
- Collaborate with Help Desk, Application, System, and Desktop Support teams to facilitate resolutions.
- Monitor and report on trends in support requests to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct triage to assess the urgency and impact of issues.
- Oversee ticket management for multiple live systems, ensuring efficient handling of high ticket volumes.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Help Desk, Application Support, System Support, or Desktop Support roles.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on effective problem resolution.
- Proactive attitude with a proven history of fulfilling commitments.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as Jira and Zendesk is a plus.
- Capability to identify significant IT challenges and prioritize them for resolution.
Work Environment
- Onsite position with standard work hours.
- Contract position with potential for extension or conversion.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.
