Aerospace Quality Assurance Specialist

Enjet Aero is a leading manufacturer of complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, metrology, and manufacturing practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Metrology Skills
- Excellent skills in reading blueprints, GD&T principles, interpretation, and application
- Proficient with SPC and able to analyze and summarize data into a management format
- Inspection Reports
- Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports using PWA's version of Net Inspect
- Evaluate and approve reports prior to customer final submittal and disposition
- Quality Management Systems
- Solid knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 & ASQR-01 Quality Management Systems
- Ability to identify and implement ideas to improve inspection methods and enhance QMS effectiveness
The successful candidate will possess:
- A working knowledge of AS9100C and ISO9001-2008 standards
- Prior experience as DQR (holding stamps) or willingness to undergo DQR training
- A well-rounded knowledge of machining, manufacturing practices, and special processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and inspection equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
