Job Overview

Position: Refrigeration Systems Technician

Shift: 2nd Shift: 1pm-10pm

Role Summary:

The Refrigeration Systems Technician is tasked with the critical responsibility of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems on commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers. This role encompasses performing maintenance tasks, testing various components, and interpreting intricate schematics. The technician will also conduct road tests to verify the functionality of the systems and will work independently with minimal oversight. Additionally, the technician will engage in preventative maintenance practices and uphold safety standards within the work environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems on trucks and trailers
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, including pneumatic wrenches and welding apparatus
  • Ability to read and understand complex schematics related to refrigeration and air conditioning systems
