Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Team Lead to join our team at Climate Systems. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical field supervision, mentoring, and leadership to our HVAC technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Field Supervision
    • Provide technical guidance and oversight to a team of up to 12 HVAC technicians.
    • Fulfill the role of a service technician as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Mentoring and Leadership
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our HVAC technicians.
    • Provide coaching and guidance to ensure the successful completion of service calls and projects.
  • Safety Leadership
    • Lead by example in maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and provide feedback to ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Service Coordination
    • Assist Service Coordinators in scheduling and coordinating service calls to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
    • Provide expert counsel on scheduling and service coordination to ensure seamless execution.
  • Sales Support
    • Assist in the development of customer relationships and sales opportunities.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support sales efforts.
  • Preventative Maintenance Contracts
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue from preventative maintenance contracts.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful execution of PM contracts.
  • Projects Teams Support
    • Collaborate with the Projects Team to identify and pursue new project opportunities.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support project execution.
  • Asset Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize tool expenditures and maximize company profitability.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure efficient use of company assets.
  • Technology and Reference Library Management
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of technical resources and documentation.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure seamless access to technical information.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
    • Proven track record of success in leadership and technical roles.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Post-secondary education in HVAC or a related field preferred.
  • Skills
    • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
