Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Charge Nurse (RN) to lead our nursing team in Avondale, Arizona.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the operating room unit, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Supervise and mentor a team of registered nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including medical staff, hospital administration, and pre-hospital providers.
- Manage departmental budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
- Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical nursing experience, with a focus on operating room nursing.
- Two years of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Certification in specialty area of practice, such as perioperative nursing.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR and ACLS certification.
