TERMITE CONTROL SPECIALIST

Role Summary:

The Termite Control Specialist is responsible for providing a range of termite prevention and eradication services for both residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily schedules and confirm that all necessary equipment is stocked on the service vehicle, replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Evaluate and monitor bait stations using installation plans or location devices.
  • Conduct inspections of bait stations upon identification.
  • Assist with moisture control tasks, including vapor barriers and encapsulations.
  • Document all products used during the bait examination process.
  • Independently determine the most efficient routes for service delivery.
  • Effectively manage workflow at assigned locations.
  • Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Maintain punctuality for scheduled appointments with clients.
  • Promote additional services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Ensure that company equipment is kept in excellent working condition.
  • Keep the service vehicle clean and compliant for inspections.
  • Provide assistance with pest control routes as needed.
  • Complete any other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old (preferably 21).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills with colleagues, clients, and management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass state regulatory licensing exams within 30 days and maintain compliance as required.
  • Previous experience in termite or pest control is beneficial, although training is available for motivated candidates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, crawling, and extended sitting during travel.
