Position Overview

As a Linen Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of linen services within our healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will include the collection, sorting, and processing of soiled linens, as well as the delivery of freshly laundered items to various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Linen Management - Efficiently collect, sort, and load soiled linens into washing machines, ensuring proper handling and care of materials.
  • Quality Control - Fold and organize clean linens, maintaining accurate records of processed items for inventory management.
  • Safety Protocols - Adhere to safety guidelines by utilizing personal protective equipment and following established procedures for handling cleaning solutions.
  • Work Area Maintenance - Keep the work environment clean and sanitized, including all machines and surfaces, to promote a safe and hygienic workspace.
  • Customer Interaction - Engage positively with staff and residents, ensuring a respectful and pleasant experience for all.
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions effectively.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 policies.
