Key Responsibilities
  • Product Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to prevent defects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports and test results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Training: Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance quality control processes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. quality control, engineering) preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Material Handling Experience: Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Quality Related Experience: 1 year of quality-related experience and/or training.
  • Supplier Certificates: Familiarity with supplier certificates (e.g. GE DSQR, PWA SDRA).
  • Aerospace Experience: Experience in the aerospace industry.
