Job Overview

Salary: Competitive, based on experience - Minimum Starting at 75K

Position Availability: We are seeking two skilled individuals for the following shifts:
- 2nd Shift
- 3X12 Weekend Shift (Saturday, Sunday, Monday - 12-hour shifts)

Position Summary

The Electromechanical Repair Technician plays a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of mechanical and electrical systems associated with production machinery. This position demands proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance and inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic malfunctions related to production equipment.
  • Conduct all preventative maintenance, safety evaluations, routine upgrades, and repairs as directed.
  • Adjust machinery settings to optimize various manufacturing systems.
  • Provide technical and mechanical recommendations to enhance efficiency, reusability, and longevity of equipment.
  • Collaborate with different departments to assess and refine technical solutions and strategies.
  • Document and communicate maintenance and repair activities, along with any irregularities.
  • Test machinery to ensure compliance with production and quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, cleanliness, and established regulations.
  • Assist production personnel in routine preventative maintenance practices as needed.
  • Manage and oversee spare parts inventory.
  • Uphold all safety standards and practices.
  • Exhibit leadership in safety and demonstrate a commitment to personal and team safety.
  • Possess basic computer skills and knowledge.
  • Show willingness to undergo training and enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Be available for on-call duties during weekend operations.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a minimum of five years of relevant mechanical and electrical experience.
  • Experience in trades is advantageous.
  • Licensure as an electrician is a plus.
  • PLC certification is beneficial.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in machine diagnostics, parts replacement, and testing.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds as needed.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable working on ladders ranging from 6' to 10' and operating a 20' scissor/boom lift.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic production setting.
Physical Requirements

During the performance of job duties, the employee may be required to lift weights regularly up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
