Position Overview
We are looking for a committed Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities while guiding and training Housekeeping Staff and Participants.

Your role will be essential in upholding high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning, sanitation, and light maintenance tasks across assigned buildings.
  • Supervise and train Participants in cleaning techniques, sanitation protocols, chemical safety, and safe working practices.
  • Safely operate and maintain mechanical cleaning equipment.
  • Implement and uphold Emergency Safety Procedures and Housekeeping Manuals.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Manage and monitor housekeeping supplies and inventory.
  • Inspect areas for maintenance needs, generate work orders, and check light bulbs, exit signs, and emergency lights.
  • Attend safety and training meetings as required.
  • Complete necessary annual training.
  • Support Special Events by working additional hours as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of tasks.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant janitorial experience.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical cleaning equipment.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Completion of mandatory training within the first 120 days of employment.
  • Valid driver's license with no violations in the past year.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and walking, including the capacity to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Basic Computer Skills:

Ability to accurately type, navigate websites, enter and recall data, utilize word processing and spreadsheet software, manage emails, and understand digital communication etiquette.

Self-motivated individual capable of working with minimal supervision.
