Position Title: Events Synchronization Lead

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Relocation Assistance: Not available at this time

Remote/Telework: Not applicable for this position

Clearance Type: DoD Secret

Shift: Day shift (Monday to Friday)

Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time

Description of Duties:

The Events Synchronization Lead plays a crucial role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and synchronizing events with MDSEA test teams, government stakeholders, and contract leadership for two space ground programs during MDA test events.
  • Providing on-site event support as necessary and ensuring the establishment of communication and video feeds for MDA Test Events.
  • Reporting directly to MDSEA leadership.
  • Engaging and coordinating professionally with senior government clients.
  • Managing ground operations and collaborating with satellite flight operators to support MDA test events.
  • Assisting in the requirements, design, and execution of test and event plans.
  • Coordinating, developing, and managing essential staffing and contractual documents necessary for test events.
  • Enhancing technical knowledge and experience through continuous interaction with mission developers and government partners as the program evolves.

Here's what you'll need:

Basic Requirements:

  • One of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) with 16 years of general experience; Associate's degree with 14 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree with 12 years of general experience; Master's degree with 10 years of general experience.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience directly related to test event coordination, satellite tests or flight operations, ground system development or testing, and operations (or a similar field).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Experience in building, leading, and providing event support.
  • Proven experience in professional communication with senior clients.
  • An active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Requirements:

  • Experience with government satellite and/or ground systems.
  • Information technology experience with a fundamental understanding of IT concepts.
  • Familiarity with AF Enterprise Ground Services (EGS).
  • Experience with Telemetry, Tracking, and Control (TT&C).
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance.

This position is expected to offer a salary range of $123,000 - $148,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and relevant certifications.
