Key Responsibilities:

The Events Synchronization Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) through the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The selected candidate will:

  • Oversee event coordination and synchronization with MDSEA test teams, government stakeholders, and contract leadership for two space ground programs during MDA test events.
  • Provide on-site event support as necessary, ensuring the establishment of communication and video feeds for MDA Test Events.
  • Report directly to MDSEA leadership.
  • Engage and coordinate professionally with senior government clients.
  • Manage ground operations and liaise with satellite flight operators in support of MDA test events.
  • Assist in the requirements, design, and execution of test and event plans.
  • Coordinate, develop, and manage essential staffing and contractual documents required for test events.
  • Enhance technical knowledge and experience through ongoing interaction with mission developers and government partners as the program progresses.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • One of the following combinations of education and experience: High School Diploma (or GED) with 16 years of general experience; Associate's degree with 14 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree with 12 years of general experience; Master's degree with 10 years of general experience.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience directly related to test event coordination, satellite tests, flight operations, ground system development, or operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in building, leading, and providing event support.
  • Experience in professional communication with senior clients.
  • An active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with government satellite and/or ground systems.
  • Information technology experience with a fundamental understanding of IT concepts.
  • Familiarity with AF Enterprise Ground Services (EGS).
  • Experience with Telemetry, Tracking, and Control (TT&C).
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
