Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. As an Event Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless event operations, collaborating closely with event coordinators and other team members to provide exceptional service and contribute to the overall success of each event.

About the Role
  • Event Preparation: Assist in setting up and breaking down events, ensuring all necessary materials, equipment, and supplies are in place and meet the event's requirements.
  • Logistical Support: Help organize transportation, catering, guest lists, and vendor communications to ensure timely and efficient event execution.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide on-site support to guests, ensuring a positive experience by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding them through event activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist in maintaining event documentation, including contracts, schedules, and attendee lists. Help with event registration and check-ins as needed.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, venues, and event staff to ensure all aspects of the event are aligned and executed according to plan.
  • Post-Event Duties: Help with post-event wrap-up, including packing, cleaning, and assisting with follow-up tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college education in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and attendees. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
