Position Overview
SNI Companies is seeking a qualified Legal Assistant to enhance our dedicated team.
This role is based onsite and offers full-time hours during the week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, review, and organize evidence and legal documents for attorney assessment and case preparation.
  • Draft and proofread legal correspondence and documents, including pleadings and contracts, with a focus on writing, proofreading, and translating motions.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including calendar management and travel coordination.
  • Conduct research on regulations, laws, and legal articles to aid in the development of reports, case files, and legal guidance.
  • Engage with clients and witnesses to arrange meetings, interviews, and depositions.
  • Organize, scan, and maintain documents in both paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, and manage messages and emails.
  • Request and organize medical records, ensuring proper labeling and filing.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department, as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with scheduling responsibilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently, manage substantial workloads, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish or Creole, is essential.
