Job Summary

The City Administrator will be responsible for the administrative operations of the City of Lewiston, carrying out the policies set forth by the City Council. This role requires a strong background in public administration, finance, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the day-to-day operations of the city
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate employees
  • Manage finances and accounting
  • Communicate effectively with the public and city officials
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field
  • Four years of relative experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Two years of experience in municipal administration or a related field
  • Finance and accounting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Public speaking and public relations skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
