Job Title: Front Office Manager

Job Summary:

The Front Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel's front office, including guest reception, reservations, and telephone service. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Reception: Ensure that guests are greeted, checked in, and allocated rooms promptly and courteously.
  2. Reservations: Ensure that check-in procedures are strictly adhered to and that the correct address and charge-out details are obtained from each guest.
  3. Telephone Service: Ensure that all incoming and outgoing telephone calls are handled promptly and courteously.
  4. Staff Supervision: Supervise and train front office staff to ensure they are providing excellent customer service and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
  5. Operations: Ensure that all front office areas are clean and orderly at all times, and that all equipment and systems are functioning properly.
  6. Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on front office operations, including guest feedback and staff performance.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in hotel software systems.

Working Conditions:

The Front Office Manager will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent interaction with guests, staff, and other departments. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 20 pounds, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
