Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Technician to join our team at Five-Star AudioVisual, Inc. As an Event Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions of the audiovisual office, setting up and operating audiovisual equipment for client functions, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure maximum client satisfaction
  • Contribute to the effective management of day-to-day operations according to company procedures
  • Set up and strike audiovisual equipment for client functions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Continuously increase audiovisual skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Maintain positive public relations with hotel accounts and cultivate strong team-player orientation
  • Effectively utilize company business software and maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year's experience in the AV industry
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with AV set-ups and strikes
  • Background in customer service or hospitality experience required
  • Certification in AV technology or related courses preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet and consistently lift up to 75 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required to operate a Company vehicle
