San Francisco, California, United States Strava Full time

About This Role

Strava is the leading digital community for active people with more than 120 million athletes, in over 190 countries.

The platform offers a holistic view of your active lifestyle, no matter where you live, which sport you love, and/or what device you use.

Everyone belongs on Strava when they pursue an active life.

We're looking for a passionate individual to help us build the future of connected fitness.

We're creating new ways to empower and entertain the global community of athletes by placing Strava at the center of our ecosystem - devices, digital fitness apps, content, connected equipment, gyms, and more.

We're passionate about bringing new and meaningful experiences to athletes doing what they love.

As the Senior Partner Manager, Connected Partnerships, you will be responsible for driving Strava's success globally through partnership and product, through our External API and innovative integrations.

This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office with an in-office requirement of three days per week.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Identify and integrate new strategic partners to help put Strava at the center of connected fitness.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with our key partners and build a deep understanding and connection across all relevant teams within the partners' organization.
  • Seek new ways to activate and deepen our current partnerships to help grow the number of athletes integrated to Strava.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to help build successful go-to-market campaigns for new features or integration moments.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to identify new opportunities and be the liaison with the partner to bring those to fruition.
  • Triage and communicate issues with Partners integrations, with a keen sense of when to escalate internally and externally and with the appropriate level of criticality.

You will be successful here by:

  • Having a strategic mentality and a knack for driving stakeholders to consensus on important issues.
  • Being self-directed, results-oriented, and comfortable working in ambiguous and dynamic environments.
  • Exhibiting a comfortable approach to working across cross-functional teams and being able to creatively problem-solve.
  • Working in a highly-organized manner, being capable of managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing among many opportunities.
  • Possessing excellent written, oral communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Listening skillfully, modeling optimism, and embodying our ABCs.

We're excited about you because:

  • You have 5+ years of experience working in a strategic partnerships and/or business development role.
  • You take initiative, proactively identifying opportunities and potential challenges to drive success.
  • You are highly organized, ensuring seamless project management and strategic execution.
  • You adeptly navigate both external and internal relationships, ensuring collaboration and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • You have excellent communication skills, effectively building strong, collaborative relationships.
