Your Role: We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to manage instrument maintenance and cultivate customer relationships in the Bay Area. In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned clients, addressing troubleshooting, installations, validations, maintenance, and service repairs on specific product lines.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by building and maintaining positive professional relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including preventive maintenance contracts and service plan leads, to support our continued growth.
  • Stay current with administrative tasks such as completing work orders, managing parts returns, and following up with clients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • An associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Willingness to travel within the Bay Area and occasionally to neighboring states.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with scientific research instruments or a technical background in a similar field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications.
  • Hands-on experience with field instrumentation.
