We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Operations Coordinator to join our team at Nhcwny. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients upon arrival and verify their insurance information
- Schedule and change appointments as needed
- Collect co-payments and process payments in a timely manner
- Assist with front desk operations, including printing daily appointment schedules and reports
- Verify patient information and update records as necessary
- Communicate with patients and staff to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Medical office experience or medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Allscripts PM and EHR knowledge preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
