We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at The Sherwin-Williams Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, answer customer questions, and resolve any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales and Merchandising: Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services, process sales transactions accurately, and maintain precise work order files and formulas.
- Inventory Management: Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, comply with inventory control procedures, and suggest ways to improve sales.
- Operational Support: Load/unload delivery trucks, assist in making deliveries, and clean store equipment.
- Age and Authorization: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position, and previous work experience selling paint and paint related products.
