CereCore is currently seeking a Software Engineer in Test to contribute to our mission in Nashville, TN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new automation test scripts utilizing object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java.
  • Create web UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Implement API and database testing with C# or Java.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing automated test scripts.
  • Schedule daily test executions using Jenkins CI/CD tools.
  • Provide mentorship across QA teams within the program.
  • Construct a robust test automation framework.
  • Adhere to established automation and performance testing methodologies.
  • Act as a quality lead within an Agile Scrum team.
  • Collaborate with team members to formulate Agile testing strategies addressing database impacts, functional use cases, regression testing, negative testing, error retests, and usability.
  • Facilitate defect prevention by integrating quality practices early in the development process.
  • Engage in defect discovery, prevention, and tracking with the Scrum team.
  • Conduct manual testing when automation is not feasible.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming with languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium.
  • Familiarity with source code management systems such as GIT, TFS, or Subversion.
  • Experience in crafting and executing complex SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of API test automation.
  • Experience with integration testing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ALM, Rally, or JIRA.
