KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce Inc. is seeking a Product Data Analyst. In this role, you will collaborate with various business units and product teams to gain insights into their operational models, which will aid in shaping future initiatives and outlining requirements for enhancements within our core dining systems.

The Product Data Analyst will spearhead project teams, bridging the gap between the vision for dining product features and the dining product backlog. You will be responsible for prioritizing user stories and representing the product team in cross-functional planning and execution meetings.

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct interviews and facilitate sessions for requirements gathering, process analysis, and application design with stakeholders, including internal IT and business partners.
  • Assess commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products to determine the best fit based on stakeholder needs.
  • Develop business cases to secure funding for new projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies, including maintaining a well-defined backlog of user stories with dependencies and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout the development process.
  • Ensure that design considerations are integrated into every feature and user experience.
  • Validate and approve completed work that aligns with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various technology teams to estimate resources and timelines to meet business demands and communicate these to stakeholders.
  • Gather and create comprehensive business requirements and scope documents, translating them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Manage project deliverables for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring that all tasks are logged, tracked, and resolved to meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
  • Assist business partners in troubleshooting IT issues and facilitate collaboration with other IT teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in reviewing business data schemas.
  • Understanding of data analytics, engineering, and management.
  • Able to interpret and analyze data flow diagrams.
  • Experience in conducting business process reviews.
  • Proficient in creating business cases and use cases.
  • Experience in documenting requirements.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
  • Experience in the testing development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of project management life cycles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in relevant technologies or systems (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Access Control Specialist).
  • 5-7 years of experience across all phases of the application development life cycle, particularly in business analysis and quality assurance testing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
  • Experience with project planning tools, specifically MS Project.
  • Background in a similar role within the maritime sector.
  • Understanding of cyber and physical security protocols related to access control systems.
