Key Responsibilities:
In this leadership position, you will:

1. **Lead by Example:** Be the first to engage with customers and their pets, showcasing a genuine love for animals.

2. **Community Engagement:** Recognize local animal welfare advocates and collaborate on community events to promote pet adoption and welfare.

3. **Sales Analysis:** Monitor store performance metrics and devise strategies to enhance sales, customer interaction, and overall productivity, motivating your team to achieve these objectives.

4. **Positive Work Environment:** Foster a cheerful and supportive atmosphere for both staff and customers, establishing a reputation for friendly and knowledgeable service.

5. **Operational Excellence:** Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding animal care, safety, and cleanliness, providing a safe shopping experience for all.

6. **Team Development:** Promote team morale by understanding individual strengths, recognizing achievements, and assisting team members in reaching their career aspirations.

7. **Staffing and Training:** Maintain a fully staffed store by overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes for all team members.

8. **Community Partnerships:** Build relationships with local organizations to create joint marketing opportunities and events.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; a high school diploma/GED is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
- The ability to operate store equipment, including forklifts, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility in scheduling and reliable transportation.
