Job Description:

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Oversees subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training, as well as performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in contract negotiation and contract change management. Coordinates proposal development, business planning, and financial planning. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test. Develops new business opportunities or expands the product line with customers. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Significant experience with NAVSPECWARCOM.
  • Demonstrated understanding of logistic operations in support of maritime combat operations.
Desired Skills:
  • Leadership and organizational development of NAVSEPC program portfolio.
  • USSOCOM and Joint strategy development.
  • Extensive USSOCOM organizational and tactical experience.
  • Senior-level customer (internal and external) engagement.

Demonstrated/recent experience briefing and interfacing at both the DOD & LM executive level. Understanding of IDIQ planning and execution.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part of their schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

Non-standard 40-hour work week as assigned by leader

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington DC is $146,800 - $281,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
