We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team at Ascension Borgess. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including those requiring critical care and rehabilitation.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs, in collaboration with the patient and their family.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to ensure safe and effective care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 12 months of hire date.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 1 month of hire date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) within 3 months of hire date.
- Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
