Job Summary

Crescent Services is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Guest Services: Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, using a positive and clear speaking voice to understand their needs and provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
  2. Registration and Check-In: Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming pertinent details and making appropriate selections of rooms based on guest needs.
  3. Payment and Accounting: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash and make change, balance an assigned house bank, and post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using our computer system.
  4. Communication: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication, input messages into our computer system, and retrieve messages and communicate their content to guests.
  5. Account Closure and Guest Satisfaction: Close guest accounts at time of check-out, ascertain satisfaction, and negotiate compromise in the event of dissatisfaction.
  6. Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions and negotiate results, remaining calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity.
  7. Availability and Teamwork: Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis, performing any other job-related duties as assigned.
