Job Summary:

The Chief Human Resources Officer will oversee and direct the company's Human Resources plans to support core values and overall business strategy. This role is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices aligned with business objectives and labor laws.
Collaborate with CEO, internal counsel, and senior leadership to execute human capital strategies and HR processes.
Identify key performance indicators for HR and talent management functions, assessing company success and market competitiveness.
Demonstrate strong understanding of HR components including compensation, strategic planning, organizational development, talent management, recruiting, benefits, HRIS, labor relations, and training.
Define technology roadmap to support scale and drive HR digitization and process improvements.
Develop and execute a comprehensive, competitive total reward strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Lead diversity and inclusion activities, fostering a positive work culture that values varied backgrounds and attributes.
Support diverse work environments including retail, manufacturing, supply chain, e-commerce, technology, and corporate functions.
Develop employee-centric communication programs, wellness initiatives, and engagement strategies.
Implement effective succession planning and leadership development programs.
Advise management on employee relations issues, investigations, and HR procedures.
Establish and implement labor relations strategy aligned with company goals.
Oversee workers' compensation insurance program and corporate Health and Safety Program.
Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in HR compliance.
Complete special projects as assigned by the President and CEO.

Requirements:

12+ years of executive-level HR experience in multi-unit, multi-state retail, service, or manufacturing industries (5,000+ employees)
Strong analytical and project leadership skills
Creative, collaborative, results-oriented leader with excellent execution abilities
Experience leading significant organizational transformation efforts
Proven success in leading HR functions in dynamic, high-growth environments
Strong experience leveraging and implementing progressive HR technologies
Excellent project management and communication skills
Leadership experience managing at least 5 HR professionals
Thorough knowledge of employment and labor laws (US, State & Local)
BA/BS degree in related discipline (MBA preferred)

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is expected to be $223K to $279K annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, in addition to a full range of generous medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
