Environmental Health and Safety Specialist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist III to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our EH&S team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement EH&S programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance workplace safety and compliance.
- Provide training and education to employees, leaders, and other stakeholders on EH&S best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and analyze employee safety incidents, and implement changes to the employee safety program as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and escalate issues or risks as appropriate.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EH&S regulations and organizational policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
