Position Summary
The Risk Business Operations team is in search of a Site Reliability Engineer dedicated to addressing challenges, enhancing our CI/CD pipeline, and steering Mastercard towards excellence in DevOps automation and best practices.

This role will primarily concentrate on Threat Scan and related applications.

Key Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will:

  • Engage in and enhance the entire lifecycle of services—from inception and design to deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Analyze IT Service Management (ITSM) activities and provide constructive feedback to development teams regarding operational gaps or resilience issues.
  • Support services prior to launch through system design consultation, capacity planning, and launch assessments.
  • Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through automation and advocate for improvements that enhance reliability and speed.
  • Facilitate the application CI/CD pipeline for software promotion into higher environments through validation and operational gating.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
  • Adopt a holistic approach to problem-solving, connecting various technology components during production events to optimize recovery times.
  • Collaborate with a global team across multiple time zones and locations.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
