Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at FORVIS | Executive Search. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: CPA or CMA certification preferred.
