Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide guidance, support, and leadership to the accounting team to drive performance and growth.
Requirements
  • CPA Certification: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in GAAP, financial accounting standards, budgeting, control, and reporting principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
