We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role is essential for supporting the financial and budgetary functions of our organization.

The Financial Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting the Federal Public Defender and Administrative Officer with various financial and budget-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounts payable operations and oversee straightforward procurement processes.
  • Prepare and review financial disbursements and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and ensure timely ordering.
  • Keep comprehensive records of contracts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Support the Administrative Officer in the development and forecasting of the semiannual budget.
  • Conduct evaluations of internal controls and assist in budget reprogramming and maintenance.
  • Act as a liaison between our office and external vendors to facilitate smooth operations.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
