Position Summary:

The Finance Manager at Independence Mazda is integral to the financial operations of the dealership. This position is tasked with overseeing all monetary activities, ensuring optimal management of financial assets. A comprehensive understanding of automotive financing, including loans, leasing, and insurance is essential. The Finance Manager collaborates closely with the sales department, clients, and financial institutions to provide competitive financing solutions for vehicle purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the automotive finance division and ensure adherence to all finance and insurance regulations.
  • Work in tandem with the sales team to structure financial deals and present viable financing options to clients.
  • Calculate and clarify payment terms, interest rates, and down payments for customers.
  • Accurately and efficiently process financing applications and lease agreements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions to secure favorable rates and terms for clients.
  • Continuously assess and manage the dealership's financial portfolio, including monitoring delinquencies and collections.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team regarding the financing process.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation and reports related to automotive financing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in automotive finance, particularly within a dealership setting, is essential.
  • Familiarity with Dealertrack Software is preferred.
  • North Carolina Notary certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive financing products, including loans, leasing, and insurance.
  • Strong understanding of finance and insurance regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including finance and accounting tools.
