OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Referral Coordinator to join our team at South Denver OBGYN. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care and efficient referral processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and handle referrals for patients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Verify insurance coverage and coordinate scheduling for incoming referrals.
- Develop and maintain OB payment plans, ensuring compliance with medical records requests.
- Release medical records for incoming and outgoing requests, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate referrals and ensure smooth communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a medical practice preferred.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures, managed care organizations, and insurance carriers' requirements.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in computer software and job-related applications.
- Competitive hourly wage: $20-$24.
