Steel Manufacturing Sales Professional

SAS Global Corporation is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our team. The target sales area is in the New England region, covering locations such as Portland, ME, Syracuse, NY, Albany, NY, Boston, MA, and Allentown, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue in assigned territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
- Deliver sales presentations and negotiate with clients
- Collaborate with industrial and maintenance plant personnel to understand customer needs and develop solutions
- Assist with onsite field measuring and installation projects
- Stay up-to-date with competitor products and pricing strategies
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in steel sales and manufacturing
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with sales techniques and pipeline management
- Microsoft Office and CRM experience
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Overnight travel to support sales activity in a multi-state region
- Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work in industrial environments with proper PPE
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver 50lbs
- Ability to manually go up and down multiple stories of stairs
