Director of Global Marketing Strategy

Job Summary
Sensience is seeking a seasoned marketing leader to drive the company's global marketing and product strategy. As the Director of Global Marketing Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a customer-focused marketing strategy that drives cross-product family growth and prioritizes both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
- Construct scalable marketing processes, including lead routing, lead scoring, campaign operations, and ROI measurement, to drive efficiencies across marketing and sales functions.
- Partner with the product management team to lead product strategy and align go-to-market strategy with sales operations to improve funnel conversions and enable sales hunters to achieve revenue growth.
- Establish best practices for marketing technology infrastructure by partnering with the IT leader on database/lead management, data integrity, system governance, and integrations with internal and external parties.
- Manage the collection and analysis of data in support of growth strategies, conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative research into customers, competitors, and the marketplace, and creating reports, presentations, and actions based on data.
- Lead a marketing communications team to develop effective customer and market communications strategies and execute those strategies, including developing messaging strategies for each industry, maintaining social media platforms and content, developing and delivering industry and product communications strategies, evaluating tools and systems to improve lead generation, and developing metrics, tools, and processes to improve delivery of traditional marketing communication materials.
- Effectively plan and attend trade show events and industry publications, and manage all public relations and crisis management media communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related business field (MBA preferred) with a minimum of five years of marketing leadership experience in a manager or above position.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in specialty areas, such as marketing, market research, sales, product management, strategic planning, business development.
- Excellent analytical abilities and a demonstrated track record of using market research, at least five years of experience in managing and influencing globally diverse teams, industry experience in HVAC, Appliance, Transportation, and/or Industrial markets, technical knowledge of marketing tools, systems, and dataflows, and proficiency in SQL, HTML, and marketing/CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of email marketing standards, technologies, and regulations, experience working in a B2B high-volume manufacturing company, exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills, big-picture strategic thinking, ability to lead and influence cross-functionally without direct line authority, overall business savvy, market expertise, and operational understanding, excellent communicator and multi-tasker, and domain knowledge in one or more key markets: HVAC, Automotive, Appliance, Industrial, a plus.
- Fluency in English, and fluency in Spanish and/or Mandarin preferred.
- Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
