Caregiver Inc. is a leading provider of services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Texas. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Augusta, GA location, you'll join a dedicated team of caregivers who share this vision.

About the Role

This rewarding position involves providing direct support and assistance to our consumers, enabling them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dining skills, and housekeeping
  • Participating in training activities, as specified in Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
  • Aiding mobility for those using wheelchairs and other assistive devices

In addition to these core responsibilities, you may also be involved in monitoring consumer activities to ensure safety and health care practices are observed, as well as participating in the daily operation of the home in areas such as grocery shopping and van maintenance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school education or equivalent
  • Some previous experience supporting/assisting individuals with disabilities (desired)
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record (desired)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $11.00 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. You may also be eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 annually.
