Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Services Manager to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our perioperative leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of perioperative nurses and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Mercy's standards of care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and training to staff on new policies, procedures, and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
  • 3 or more years of nursing experience, with at least a year in perioperative nursing.
  • Perioperative certification (i.e. CNOR, CAPA) preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
