Position Summary
We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Senior Program Control Analyst who will report directly to our Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in project forecasting, variance analysis, and advanced Excel modeling.

As a Senior Program Control Analyst, you will be instrumental in financial planning, oversight, and reporting, ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
Project Forecasting and Budgeting:
Collaborate with project managers to establish precise project forecasts and budgets, taking into account cost drivers, collections, unbilled amounts, and aging considerations.
Analyze historical project data to guide future budgeting and forecasting strategies.
Ensure financial plans align with project objectives.
Develop quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC) and assist in generating accurate Estimates to Complete (ETC).


Variance Reporting:
Continuously monitor project financials, identifying and analyzing variances.
Provide comprehensive explanations for budget discrepancies and suggest corrective measures.
Work closely with project teams to address financial inconsistencies.
Excel Modeling:
Utilize intermediate to advanced Excel skills to create and maintain intricate financial models.
Enhance financial reporting templates to boost accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct thorough analyses of financial data using functions such as VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables.
ERP System Expertise:
Exhibit proficiency in Deltek Costpoint as an ERP system.
Accurately input and extract financial data using Costpoint.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure seamless data integration and accuracy.
Review project setups to ensure compliance with contract requirements and internal tracking needs.
Financial Analysis:
Partner with Program Managers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their program's financial status, commitments, and the implications of cost and schedule changes.
Provide insightful financial analysis to facilitate decision-making processes.
Conduct regular reviews of financial performance and recommend necessary adjustments.
Support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate recording of costs and revenue recognition.
Assist in preparing financial presentations for leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Control Analyst or in a comparable role within a government contracting environment.

Familiarity with government contracting and various contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.).
Strong expertise in project forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP system is essential.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
