Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Hotel Resource. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with our company's culinary vision.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard, meeting our company's quality and presentation expectations.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Manage kitchen staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet guest demand.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to ensure they are within budget.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and maintained in the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a high-volume hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve high-quality results.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of kitchen inventory management and control systems.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
