Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at Vizient. As a key member of our Pharmacy National Accounts team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Non-Acute Care Services program. Your primary focus will be on new membership recruitment and overall business development, as well as increasing contract utilization among new and existing members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives within defined territories to drive new membership recruitment and business growth.
  • Promote and assist participants with the implementation of Provista's non-Acute Programs, ensuring seamless integration and maximum value.
  • Manage relationships with Non-Acute suppliers, distributors, and channel partners within defined geographic territories, fostering strong partnerships and driving cost savings.
  • Retain existing accounts by maintaining exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews and attend strategic planning meetings with key suppliers to promote Vizient's Non-Acute product and services program.
  • Collaborate with supply partners to conduct joint sales calls, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and driving business growth.
  • Assess member needs for products and services, conducting market assessments and research to inform business development strategies.
  • Manage sales territories to achieve individual and team sales and revenue goals, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Cultivate relationships with all levels of customer organizations, from purchasing departments to C-Suite leaders, ensuring strong partnerships and business growth.
  • Maintain all sales activity within Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years' relevant experience required, with a focus on managing large enterprise accounts in a healthcare group purchasing setting.
  • Past job experience in pharmacy distribution, specialty pharmacy, and infusion preferred.
  • Strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills required.
  • Knowledge of Group Purchasing/supply chain, non-Acute pharmacy market, and working effectively with C-suites desired.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.
Compensation and Benefits

Vizient offers a comprehensive benefits plan, including a competitive salary range of $88,900.00 to $146,000.00, depending on location and experience. This position is also incentive eligible, with opportunities for bonuses and rewards based on performance.
