Position Overview

The Operations Team at Vori, Inc. is dedicated to exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. The role of the Solutions Engineer is pivotal in ensuring the seamless availability of our product suite and facilitating swift customer implementations. Your main duties will involve contributing to the development of a top-tier operations team, focusing on both procedural and systems enhancements.

Proficiency in data management and database systems is essential. You will engage with various data formats from multiple sources, including point of sale systems, retail back office applications, and enterprise resource planning systems. Familiarity with tools and languages such as SQL is crucial, as you will need to access and manipulate data presented in formats like CSV, PDF, EDI, and traditional paper documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehend the VoriOS system comprehensively, including its components and integration dependencies.
  • Assess customer requirements to define and configure system specifications accurately.
  • Manage data mappings and reconciliation as a vital aspect of our operations team.
  • Install, deploy, configure, test, monitor, patch, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments, working closely with Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance workflows and systems.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and the Onboarding Manager to ensure complete integration of hardware and software prior to customer launch.
  • Support the Customer's Onboarding Manager in training staff on system protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Over 4 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer role or similar capacity.
  • Strong technical project management skills with a proven track record of successfully completing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Regex, and scripting, with a willingness to learn new technologies such as Postgres, Big Query, JSONata, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable navigating rapidly changing environments, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results independently and create clarity from ambiguity.
