Job Title: Solutions & Sales Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales/Solutions Engineer to join our team at Wayfound. As a Sales/Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. You will work closely with the CEO and CTO as well as customers to deliver tailored AI solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical point of contact for prospective clients, providing deep knowledge of our AI products and solutions.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and design custom AI solutions that address their needs.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations, both virtually and in-person, that showcase the value and capabilities of our AI agents.
  • Customer Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new customers, ensuring a smooth implementation process and providing training as needed.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the CEO to develop and deliver technical proposals, RFP responses, and presentations that align with client requirements.
  • Feedback Loop: Act as a liaison between customers and the product development team, providing feedback on product performance and suggesting improvements based on customer interactions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Market Insight: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations to both the sales team and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Know-How: Bachelor's degree in a technical field and/or a demo of a software product that you have built. A strong understanding of AI/ML technologies is highly preferred.
  • Sales Experience: Strong understanding of sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical sales, preferably in a startup or technology-driven environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into practical solutions for clients.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-Centric: A strong focus on customer satisfaction, with the ability to listen to customer needs and provide solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can change rapidly.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • AI/ML Expertise: Experience working with AI/ML products, APIs, or platforms.
  • Startup Experience: Previous experience working in an early-stage startup, particularly in a technical or sales role.
  • Certification: Relevant industry certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, or similar.
