Job Summary

The Salon Director in Training plays a pivotal role in driving store performance, fostering exceptional client service, and maintaining operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. This individual will manage and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company objectives and lead by example in all company operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Lead by example in all company operations, including creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
  • Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members, providing coaching, training, and feedback to improve their daily performance.
  • Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions, ensuring accurate data and efficient operations.
  • Assist the Salon Director in controlling top-line revenue and expenses, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service, while controlling labor costs.
Requirements
  • Management and/or Sales experience required, with a proven track record of success.
  • Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred, with a strong understanding of client service techniques and operational practices.
  • Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor, and team building skills to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional client service.
